On Thursday, January 23, 2025, a visit was held between Nakamura International Hotel School Japan represented by Mr. Munehiro Nishida and Poltekpar Bali (Bali Tourism Polytechnic)/BiTP. This event was attended by various parties from Poltekpar Bali, including Deputy Directors (Wadir), Head of Section (Kabbag), Head of Academic Administration Sub-Division (Kasubbag AAk), as well as Head of Department (Kajur) and Study Program Coordinator (Koprodi) SKU.

On Thursday, January 23, 2025, a visit was held between Nakamura International Hotel School Japan represented by Mr. Munehiro Nishida and Poltekpar Bali (Bali Tourism Polytechnic)/BiTP. This event was attended by various parties from Poltekpar Bali, including Deputy Directors (Wadir), Head of Section (Kabbag), Head of Academic Administration Subsection (Kasubbag AAk), as well as Head of Department (Kajur) and Study Program Coordinator (Koprodi) SKU. In addition, the Head of the Kitchen Laboratory and the Head of the BiTP Global Unit and their teams were also present, all of whom gave a warm welcome to the arrival of Mr. Nishida and the team from Nakamura International Hotel School. This visit aims to strengthen the existing cooperative relationship, as well as explore opportunities for collaboration in the fields of education and human resource development in the hotel and tourism industry. The meeting participants discussed the potential for student exchange programs, industrial internships, and curriculum development that can be adjusted to global needs in the hotel sector. In addition, the possibility of holding joint training involving teaching staff from both parties was also discussed, in order to enrich insight and experience in the world of tourism education.
The discussion at the meeting then continued by discussing the potential for further cooperation, especially in the fields of culinary arts and hospitality. Several topics discussed included teacher exchanges, joint curriculum development, and joint training that are expected to improve the quality of education on both parties. Both institutions agreed that the international internship system is an important aspect of this cooperation, with Poltekpar Bali students having the opportunity to intern in Japan, while Nakamura Culinary School students can gain experience in Bali’s world-renowned tourism industry.
In the meeting, Poltekpar Bali, which has been known for its superior educational programs, welcomed the proposed cooperation and hoped to expand its international network and improve the quality of education to produce graduates who are competitive at the global level. This cooperation is expected to have a positive impact on both institutions in introducing international quality standards in the world of hospitality education, as well as advancing the tourism industry in Indonesia, especially in Bali.
