The collaboration between Bali Tourism Polytechnic (Poltekpar Bali) and China Branch of Association of Silk Road Countries Universities and Consulting Companies (CBUCA) began with the strengthening of a partnership network involving more than 200 universities in China, including Beijing College of Finance and Commerce (BCFC).

The collaboration between Bali Tourism Polytechnic (Poltekpar Bali) and China Branch of Association of Silk Road Countries Universities and Consulting Companies (CBUCA) began with strengthening the partnership network involving more than 200 universities in China, including Beijing College of Finance and Commerce (BCFC). In the initial stage, Poltekpar Bali together with Silk Road held a series of international meetings and seminars to discuss potential collaboration in education, research, and cultural exchange. One of the main focuses of this collaboration is the student and lecturer exchange program, which allows Poltekpar Bali students to study at partner universities in China, while students from China can deepen their knowledge of Indonesian tourism. In addition to student exchanges, this collaboration also involves joint research on important issues in the tourism industry, such as destination management, tourism sustainability, and the development of digital tourism technology.Â
Poltekpar Bali, in collaboration with universities in China, including BCFC, focuses on research aimed at creating innovations in more sustainable tourism management. This research collaboration has a positive impact in enriching knowledge and creating new solutions to the challenges faced by the tourism sector. Through this collaboration, Poltekpar Bali not only strengthens the quality of its education and research, but also expands its international network. The opportunity to collaborate with universities in China opens up great opportunities for the development of the tourism sector in Indonesia and China, as well as deepening the understanding of best practices in the industry. Thus, this collaboration provides long-term benefits in improving the quality of education, research, and tourism management in both countries.

Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUAS)
On April 16 and 17, 2024, 79 students from Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUAS), the Netherlands, conducted field work in Bali, which is part of a collaboration with the Bali Tourism Polytechnic (Poltekpar Bali).
